Amine-alicyclic amine-platinum complexes and antitumor agents

Ammine-heterocyclic amine-platinum complexes of formula (I) are prepared. In (I), R is C1-5 alkyl, hydroxy, carboxy, C1-5 alkoxy, halogen or oxo; m is 2-7; X and Y are each Cl or nitrato rigand, and together form -OCOCH(R')O-, OCOCOO-, (a) or (b); R1 is H, C1-5 alkyl; n is 2-5. (I) are useful as potent antitumor agents with a low toxicity.
