The invention relates to a core-quality test device having holding devices (4, 5), which are arranged in a housing (3), and having measurement devices which are coupled to a computer (23). It achieves the object of creating an evaluating and recording device which carries out all the measurements necessary for quality control automatically. The achievement of the object essentially comprises the arrangement of a conductor terminal (4), which can be driven in rotation, and of a holder (5) which centres the core sample on the insulated end in various phases and firmly clamps it after the insulation (2) on the conductor (1) has been pressed off, and conductor and insulation thickness tests sets (6, 7 and 11, 12 respectively) which are allocated thereto in pairs, as well as devices (29, 30, 24) for determining the insulation adhesion, the conductor fracture elongation and the insulation thickness (density) and preferably also of the computer (23) in the housing which is equipped with and connected to drives (19, 20) for this purpose.
