Self-charging, current-generating and current-storing energy cell which can be activated by electromagnetic radiation or photons on the one hand and by an oxidising agent, in particular oxygen, on the other hand
The invention relates to a self-charging, current-generating and current-storing energy cell which can be activated by electromagnetic radiation or photons on the one hand and by an oxidising agent, in particular oxygen, on the other hand, having at least two electrodes which, in their chemical composition, are qualitatively identical and consist of a metal and/or a metal oxide and/or of carbon and/or of graphite and which are connected with their inner sides to one another via an ion-conductive, charge-separating medium or layer, and the outer side of at least one electrode serving to absorb the oxidising agent, in particular to absorb oxygen, and the outer side of at least one other electrode serving to absorb electromagnetic radiation or photons. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the electrodes contain silver and/or Ag2O and/or AgO. IMAGE
