Process for producing artificial concrete aggregate using gypsum from flue-gas desulphurisation

In a process for producing artificial concrete aggregate, a composition which contains from 40 to 65% by weight of gypsum from flue-gas desulphurisation and from 35 to 60% by weight of a hydraulic binder, including fly ash, is, after the addition of water, pressed under pressure to form a moulded composition. After hardening of the moulded composition, it can be used as solid concrete aggregate.
