The use of a solid, preferably graphite, as a conductive tile-furnace or fireplace brick or large-area radiant element fulfills several functions at once: conducting energy in any form, an energy store and collector, with simultaneous pyrolytic and chemical resistance as well as resistance to sudden changes in temperature, and a decorative element for interior decorating. This solid can be used in conjunction with common building materials, due to its versatility.
