Medical container for administration of a liquid, preferably in conjunction with or within injectors, when varying doses are chosen, the aim being to empty the individual containers as completely as possible. This container is characterised in that there are always two containers holding the same liquid, and after emptying one container the other container is connected, without interrupting the flow, to the metering device via a valve opening. This is preferaby achieved in that a cannula in the container emptied first penetrates the reserve container under the action of the medicament-propelling pressure gas around the containers. Final emptying of the container which is reduced to gap width can be effected through lateral bores in the cannula shaft.
