The invention relates to a process for the long-term and environmentally friendly disposal of industrial dusts having water-soluble fractions, in particular filter dust from refuse incineration plants, which is characterised in that the dust component is leached once or repeatedly with water, in that the solids are separated off from the leaching liquor and are processed to form a concrete, with addition of a cement component, whereas the leaching liquor, to isolate the salts dissolved therein, is worked up in a manner known per se.
