An installation for the formation of stacked packages for the production of gypsum-, cement- or synthetic-resin-bonded particle boards, fibreboards or like boards is described, in which a particularly careful transportation and a careful conveyance of formed products in stack form is made possible by using a transfer device having a plurality of drivable conveying members arranged one above the other in storeys, the conveying members being movable jointly from their starting position to a working position above a liftable and lowerable stacking table.
