摘要
A water-power plant by means of cross-flow turbine, retaining device and integrated rotary rake which, as a module, form the energy-extraction device and, arranged individually or multiply next to one another and mounted in a framework structure, provide a sluice which, guided on both sides, can be raised and lowered in the raceway, is installed directly in flowing water, auxiliary units being arranged in a space safe against high water on the bank. A cross-flow turbine module consists, here, of an impeller with a horizontal axis, of fixedly connected rake rings and of a coaxially pivotable regulating flap which closes sealingly against stationary rake prongs. The power transmission from the impeller to the generator takes place via a chain drive and/or gearwheel mechanism. Alternatively, a ring generator directly flanged elastically to the impeller is used. The disposal of scum takes place via a bypass flap arranged at the top and by the time-stipulated raising of the sluice. The energy-extraction device designed as a movable sluice makes it possible, any time, to cancel the build-up generated by the water-power plant. The optimum blade curvature of the cross-flow turbine impeller is provided when the blades point towards the centre point on the inside of the annular grating, terminate tangentially on the outer circumference and describe an arc of a circle therebetween.
