Streptococcal mitogens specific for T4 lymphocytes and their application to stimulating the production of the LAV virus

The invention relates to the application of streptococcal mitogens to stimulating the capacity of T4 lymphocytes to produce the LAV virus. It also relates more particularly to two possible fields of application of this technique. The first application relates to the production of the LAV virus in sufficient amounts, especially for the production of the active ingredients required for the preparation of streptococcal mitogens for the in vitro diagnosis of the absence or, on the contrary, of the presence of a risk of developing AIDS in carriers of anti-LAV antibodies.
