The device is an electronic generator producing low-frequency radio waves, which is capable of physically influencing the crystallisation of the salts in suspension in a liquid, especially calcium carbonate, so as to prevent encrustations, and without chemical modification of the liquid. It is characterised in that it acts inductively through the pipework, whatever material it is made of. The energy transfer takes place capacitively through the walls of the pipe, by means of the inductors described. The device is easily positioned, without opening the pipework or transforming the latter, the inductors described being wound around the pipe if these are cables or fixed in various ways if they are sleeves, moulded plates or rods.
