This invention relates to a filtration device for selecting and capacitating spermatozoa for the purpose of an in vitro fertilisation or an insemination. This device comprises a receptacle 1 for collecting the sperm, which has a bottom perforated with holes 2 and to which is fitted a flask 3 of culture medium, packaged in a sterile manner, by means of a mounting system 4. The filtration system comprises several filters or secretion membranes 6 which can be separated into filtration units 5 8. The result of this filtration is collected in containers 7 9. One or more flasks of culture medium 10 will be used to wash the spermatozoa by passing through the last filter which has the role of retaining the spermatozoa and which has a chamber 12 in which B2 can be deposited, a stopper 11 closing off the lower orifice of the filter.
