PURPOSE:To prevent an ignition system from misfunction by arranging a conductor intersecting leak magnetic flux of an ignition coil on the outer periphery of a pick-up coil to erase the leak magnetic flux with magnetic flux produced by eddy current induced by the conductor. CONSTITUTION:When leak magnetic flux phiL produced by an ignition coil 4 intersects a pick-up coil 21, noise voltage is induced corresponding to phiL. Then, eddy current iE flows in a tubular conductor 80 by means of the magnetic flux phiL to produce magnetic flux phiE corresponding thereto. There, the magnetic fluxes phiL, phiE are directed oppositely to each other and erased by each other to reduce noise voltage caused by the leak magnetic flux phiL across the pick-up coil 21. Also, inherently necessary rotation signal voltage other than the noise voltage caused by the leak magnetic flux phiL is reduced by the eddy current iE produced in the tubular conductor 80. However since the eddy current iE is proportional to the frequency of the intersecting fluxes, the eddy current is small in a low rotation region where the rotation signal voltage provides problems so that ignition control is not adversely affected.
