INSPECTION REPAIR DEVICE FOR HEAT-TRANSFER TUBE OF HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE: To shorten the time required for switching a probe to a heating tube by supporting an introduction hose, inserted into a rotary disc through rotary stepping motion thereof, such that the axis thereof is aligned selectively with one axis of opening in a distribution plate. CONSTITUTION: A manipulator 9 is arranged with a plurality of base metals 17 for inserting a tube probe 5 into the heating tube 3 of a heat exchanger. The base metal 17 is coupled with a guide hose 18a-18d having one end coupled concentrically with the opening 3a of the heating tube and the other end being led to an adaptor 8 communicating with respective openings of a distribution plate 9 arranged circularly. A rotary disc 20 is supported on the plate 9 such that the axis of an introduction hose 7 is aligned selectively with one axis of opening in the distribution plate 9 through rotary stepping of the disc 20. Consequently, the tube probe 5 inserted into the hose 7 is introduced selectively into one opening without moving the manipulator 9.
