VARIABLE MAGNIFICATION CONTROL METHOD FOR MICROREADER/ PRINTER OR THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To quickly set the magnification by constituting the title microreader/ printer so that the variable magnification is executed continuously when a variable magnification switch is depressed continuously, but the variable magnification is stopped only for a prescribed time when it reaches a set magnification. CONSTITUTION:An enlargement switch 3 for and variable magnification and a reduction switch 4 are subjected to X0.1 times variable magnification whenever they are depressed once, and brought to continuous variable magnification automatically when they are depressed continuously for some prescribed time. Also, by setting (storing) in advance some magnification, the variable magnification stops for some prescribed time in the course of continuous variable magnification, but when it has stopped at prescribed magnification, the variable magnification is shifted to the next magnification immediately by releasing the switch once and depressing it once again, thereafter, the continuous variable magnification is executed again. In this regard, the length of this stop time is set (stored) suitably. Moreover, it is desirable that the fine adjustment can be executed at every 0.1 times by depressing the switch, for instance, =0.5sec. In such a way, some arbitrary magnification can be obtained in a short time.
