PURPOSE:To improve compatibility with various resins without spoiling adhesiveness to polyolefin films etc., by reacting a specified lactone polymer with a chlorinated polypropylene in the presence of a peroxide catalyst. CONSTITUTION:Ring-opening polymn. of lactones is performed in the presence of an initiator consisting of an alcohol or a glycol having at least one radical- reactive unsatd. double bonds (e.g., 3-buten-1-ol) to obtain a lactone polymer (A) having an MW of 400-40,000. Then, 5-75wt.% component A is reacted with 95-25wt.% chlorinated polypropylene (B) having a degree of chlorination of 10-70 and an MW of 5,000-50,000 in the presence of a peroxide catalyst.
