STARTING LOAD REDUCTION DEVICE FOR OIL COOLING TYPE SCREW COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To reduce the starting load torque at starting, by connecting an oil charge piping to a gas discharge piping through a gas discharge branch piping with a magnet valve, and preventing the inflow of the oil to a compressor main body after stopping of the compressor by using a part of the discharge gas. CONSTITUTION:An oil charge piping 8 connected to an oil cooling type screw compressor are connected to a gas discharge piping 13 connected to an oil separator 5 through a gas discharge branch piping 13c with a magnet valve 19. At stopping of the compressor, oil charging through the oil charge piping 8 is stopped by the gas discharge pressure in the gas discharge piping 13. The solenoid valve 19 is closed during running of the compressor and opened during stopping of the compressor. Therefore, at stopping of the compressor, the compressed gas passing through the oil separator 5 flows in the oil charge piping 8 through the gas discharge piping 13, the gas discharge branch piping 13c and the selenoid valve 19, and oil charge is stopped.
