PURPOSE:To prapare the titled antifouling solution containing no heavy metals and having low polluting tendency, by mixing tetrachloroisophthalonitrile, a compound such as tetraethylthiuram disulfide, etc., an organic solvent, and optionally a compound such as pseudocumene, etc. CONSTITUTION:An antifouling solution of a fishing net, composed of tetrachloroisophthalonitrile, one or more compounds of formula I (R is 1-4C alkyl) (e.g. tetraisopropylthiuram disulfide), and an organic solvent capable of dissolving the above components (e.g. xylene, solvent naphtha, etc.). The solution may be incorporated with a compound of formula II (R' is methyl or ethyl; n is 3 or 4). EFFECT:Since the agent is a solution type, it can be prepared and handled easily, and is economical.
