JETTING SYSTEM USED IN LUMINOMETER AND JETTING OF LIQUID IN SAMPLE OF LUMINOMETER

PURPOSE: To realize a general purpose injection system having high availability by providing a hermetic sealing means for blocking passage of light through a luminometer. CONSTITUTION: A movable carrier comprises a horizontal arm 15 and a vertical column 16 wherein the arm 15 and column 16 are movable, respectively, in the depth direction and breadthwise direction of a luminometer. An injector system is secured to the column 16 by a securing means 18 and secured to the arm 15 by a fixing member 19. A carrier 32 is fixed to the column 16 and slides vertically thus carrying a needle holder 31 and a hollow needle 33. A sample container 9 is disposed oppositely to a photomultiplier at the test position of luminometer and when the carrier 32 is elevated with the needle 33 being set in the container 9, the needle 33 is moved in two steps while keeping hermetic seal of a seal block 41 and the like. The hermetic sealing means also prevents the light from entering into the seal block 41 when the needle 33 is inserted again into the container 9 for the purpose of injection.
