SILVER METALLIZED FILM FOR GOLDEN OR SILVER YARN

PURPOSE:To obtain a silver metallized film for golden and silver yarn having a distinctive character such as sulfuration resistance and oxidation resistance, by a method wherein a corrosion inhibitor mainly comprised of a vapor phase inhibitor is mixed and dispersed into a primer coat layer and protective layer. CONSTITUTION:A primer coat layer 2 and protective layer 4 are constituted of a corrosion inhibitor mainly composed of a vapor phase corrosion inhibitor by mixing and dispersing the same into the primer coat layer 2 and protective layer 4, in a silver metallized film for golden and silver yarn where a silver metallized layer 3 due to a vacuum metallizing method is formed on one side of a synthetic resin film 1 through the primer coat layer 2. A single one or a mixture of acrylic resin or styrene resin or an acryl-styrene copolymer or vinyl chloride resin or vinyl acetate resin is used as resin to be used as a primer forming the primer coat layer 2. A single one of a mixture of the acrylic resin or styrene resin or the acryl-styrene copolymer or the vinyl chloride resin or the vinyl acetate resin is used as the resin forming the protective layer 4. Dicyclohexylammonium nitrite or benzotriazole is used as a corrosion inhibitor.
