REMEDY FOR DISEASE OF LIVER AND BILE DUCT

PURPOSE:To obtain a remedy for disease of liver and bile duct, by using isozedoaronediol having extremely low toxicity and high safety, as an active component. CONSTITUTION:The objective drug can be prepared by using isozedoaronediol, zedoaronediol and curcumenone extractable from turmeric (a plant of family Zingiberaceae) as active components, compounding with conventional pharmaceutical carrier, excipient, etc., and forming to a drug form by conventional method. It can be used in the form of tablet, capsule, granule, particle, powder, injection suppository, etc. The daily dose of drug for adult (in terms of isozedoaronediol, zedoaronediol or curcumenone) is 5-500mg for oral administration and 0.5-100mg for parenteral administration.
