PURPOSE:To prevent a fall in the degree of dryness and hold a proper range of the water level by detecting the capability to supply water and regulating and controlling the delay time of a controller according to the output signal of a supply water capability detector. CONSTITUTION:When the water level in a water tube 5 reaches an electrode rod 14 in a water level detector 10, its detection signal is inputted to a controller 15 and OFF signal is outputted to a supply water pump 6 through a delay timer mechanism 16. Here, by a flow meter 19 which is connected to the supply water pump 6 the flow rate per unit time is measured and based on the measured value a delay time in a timer 17 is set. With this constitution the capability of supply water pump while a boiler is working is detected, and in response to the capability the OFF delay time for the supply water pump is automatically controlled, and after the water level is detected in the water level detector 10 and after the OFF delay time for supply water pump has passed it is possible to stop the supply water pump. Accordingly it is possible to prevent the fall in the degree of dryness due to an excess water to the water tube and hold a proper range of water level.
