VEGETATING WORK FOR MORTAR-SHEATHING SLOPE USING VEGETATIVE BLOCK

PURPOSE:To form a vegetating work on a cement mortar face by a method in which a vegetative soil block of agglomerated soil is placed on the cement mortar surface of a sheathing slope, and many perforated mesh pipes are driven into the wall and covered with a netting. CONSTITUTION:A vegetative base block 2 of dried agglomerated soil having a water holding property is placed on an uneven cement mortar surface 1 of slope. Many mesh pipes with through holes 3 are driven into the soil wall through the block 2 and a netting 5 is fixed to the surface by anchor pins. Plant seeds are sowed on the block 2 with fertilizer-containing agglomerated soil having an adequate water holding property, and the pipes 4 are filled with a humectant and slow-acting fertilizer. Vegetating work on concrete or mortar surface can thus be attained.
