TREATMENT METHOD FOR CONC. EMULSION WASTE LIQUID

PURPOSE:To treat conc. emulsion waste liquid in which polyoxyethylene group nonionic surface active agent in used as an emulsifier securely and at low cost by diluting the emulsion waste liquid with water, adding inorganic salt and heating it. CONSTITUTION:A conc. emulsion waste liquid constituted of fats and oils in which polyoxyethylene nonyl phenol or the like as an emulsifier and water is diluted with water of adequate volume. Then, inorganic salt such as NaCl or the like is added to said diluted emulsion waste liquid and heated. Oil-water separation is generated by heating, and upper and lower layers become almost transparent. Said oil-water separation liquid is cooled in the normal temperature to solidify oil phase of the upper layer, and oil content can be removed without filtration.
