PROBLEM RESOLVING SYSTEM SATISFYING PLURAL LIMITS OF DIFFERENT INTENSITIES

PURPOSE:To attain the inference of a flexible and excellent countermeasure by producing the countermeasure via an inference means to satisfy with preference an intensive limit out of plural ones with use of a means which stores the knowledge needed for production of the countermeasures. CONSTITUTION:A knowledge memory means 4 stores the knowledge needed for the inference of the countermeasure of a problem. An inference means 3 supplies plural limits 2 of difference intensities and a problem 1 and produces a countermeasure 5 via the means 4. When it is decided that the means 3 is unable to produce a countermeasure 5 which satisfies all limits, the weights showing the intensities of limits are accumulated for calculation of the limit violation cumulative value. Then an allowable level of said cumulative value is set and it is decided whether a countermeasure set under the allowable level is produced or not. If not, the allowable value is increased for trial production of the countermeasure. Thus a flexible and excellent countermeasures can be inferred by producing a countermeasure with the preference given to an intensive limit.
