EQUAL PRESSURE MIXING DEVICE FOR FOAM FIRE EXTINGUISHER

PURPOSE:To improve the fire extinguishing capability by detecting pressures of both liquids in a mixer and controlling a control valve so that a pressure ratio of both liquids is always fixed. CONSTITUTION:A mixer 1 which mixes water and a foam fire extinguisher, a control valve 4 which controls the supply quantity of the foam fire extinguisher, and a differential pressure controller 6 are provided. The differential pressure controller 6 detects pressures of both liquids in the mixer 1 and controls the driving air pressure of the control valve 4 to control the control valve 4 independently of the flow rate of the mixed foaming aqueous solution so that the pressure ratio of both liquids is always fixed. As the result, the pressure difference to the control valve between the water supply part and the foam fire extinguisher is increased to 20kg/cm25kg/cm2, and the mixture ratio of the foam fire extinguisher to water is always fixed independently of the flow rate to improve the fire extinguishing capability.
