SYSTEM FOR GENERATING ROM DATA FOR SIMULATION MODEL

PURPOSE:To handle a generator with natural language familiar to a person by converting an input program in a program file by a complier for ROM data, and generating the ROM data. CONSTITUTION:The compiler 2 for generating the ROM data converts the input program in the program file 1 that is a timing pattern generator written in mnemonic description nearer to the natural language, and generates the ROM data that is the timing pattern generator written in binary description, and outputs it to a ROM data file 3. When an instruction to be read in exists and the instruction is read in from the input program in the program file 1, a MOD(mode) part is extracted from the instruction. An extracted MOD part is converted to a numeric value for internal processing. When a read-in instruction is constituted of only the MOD part, the numeric value of the MOD part is converted to the instruction written in the binary description.
