PURPOSE:To reduce a manufacturing cost by providing a transmitter with an RF gate and an RF pulse gate and transmitting a high frequency pulse passing the RF pulse gate only when the high frequency pulse is excited from a high power amplifier. CONSTITUTION:A high frequency 1 is inputted to a modulator 4 and a pulse modulator 5. An RF gate 8 for controlling the output of a low power amplifier 7 for amplifying a high frequency continuous wave and an RF pulse gate for controlling the output of a high power amplifier 9 for amplifying a high frequency pulse are connected to each other in parallel. When the high frequency is not excited, the gate 8 is rendered conductive and reeds the high frequency continuous wave to an irradiating circuit 11. When the high frequency excited pulse is excited, the gate 10 is rendered conductive and transmits the high frequency pulse to the circuit 11. Thus, the transmitter of a pulse sequence wherein the high frequency continuous wave and the high frequency pulse are alternately repeated in succession can be obtained at a low cost.
