PURPOSE:To obtain the title preventive and remedy having no problems of occurrence of resistant bacteria and side effects and no fear of influence of remaining agent on human body, comprising a crude drug such as rhizome of Coptis japonica Makino, bark of Myrica rubra Siebold et Zuccarini or stems and leaves of Isodon japonica Hara as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:The title preventive and remedy comprising a crude drug selected from the group consisting of rhizome of Coptis japonica Makino, bark of Myrica rubra Siebold et Zuccarini, stems and leaves of Isodon japonica Hara, gall of Bostaurus domesticus Gmelin, Galla rhois and unripe fruit of Prunus mume Sieb et Zucc. as an active ingredient. The crude drug is administered in the form of raw powder, essence extracted with an organic solvent or water or an active ingredient of Galla rhois obtained from the essence and a dose thereof is 0.001mg-100g calculated as weight of raw powder per kg weight daily.
