PICK-UP HANDLING DEVICE OF ROD MEMBER

PURPOSE:To stabilize and automate pick-up operation, in a device for picking up rod members from a basket, by arranging an elevatable table and a pusher in front and rear of an L-shaped rotary table then setting the basket in horizontal and pushing out the rod member by means of the pusher. CONSTITUTION:A basket 24 containing rod members 35 is moved through a hoist 39 onto a rotary table 15 so as to set the rotary table in horizontal by means of a hydraulic cylinder 21. Then the head 4 of the hydraulic cylinder 1 is inserted into the bottom hole 41 of the basket 24 thus pushing out the rod member 35 onto an elevatable table 25. Thereafter, the rod member 35 is transferred through a transfer crane 37 to a pallet 36. By such arrangement, stabilization, automation and power saving can be achieved.
