KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRING SYSTEM USING TIME HISTORY

摘要

PURPOSE:To make an expert system itself grow up by storing the inference results obtained by the expert system based on a production rule as an inference history, calculating the assurance degrees of descriptions of conclusions belonging to the same category based on said inference history, and producing a processing procedure from the replaced description of conclusion to register it into a knowledge base. CONSTITUTION:A knowledge acquiring system 1 is added to an inference mechanism 8, a knowledge base (KB)9 and a knowledge editing mechanism 10 of a conventional expert system 7. The system 1 takes notice of a processing procedure that obtained a conclusion 13 and monitors the execution of the inference process of the mechanism 8. At the same time, the system 1 replaces the knowledge base (KB)9 based on the knowledge and the instructions given through the inference history and the knowledge establisher 12. Thus a user can establish a knowledge base with use of an expert system since this system itself has the capacity to acquire the knowledge and to grow up itself.
