AUTOMATIC SYSTEM FOR ESTIMATING IMPACT ON INVENTORY COST BY TECHNICAL ALTERATION OF PART

PURPOSE: To receive information from the notice of the change of technique to be released for that item, and to easily estimate impact on stock cost by accessing an inventorial data base and a financial data base for all raw materials and finished products to use that item. CONSTITUTION: A stage in which the parts to be influenced by the change of the technique for that item are retrieved from a parts list data base 12 in response to the input of a parts number to identify the item to be influenced by the change of the technique by a user, and the list of the parts number and cost to be influenced by the change of the stock is displayed is provided. The impact 18 on the stock cost due to the change of the technique to the parts is estimated. Thus, a user inter active system which estimates the impact on the stock cost and is easy to use can be realized.
