PURPOSE:To improve the wear resistance of an Fe-base sintered alloy specified in the contents of C, Cr, and Mo under a high surface pressure and the lower the attacking property to a mating material by specifying the content of the double carbide of Fe and Cr dispersed in the above-mentioned alloy and the theoretical density ratio thereof. This Fe-base sintered alloy does not generate scuff friction and pitching, exhibits a good wear surface and excellent wear resistance and does not attack the mating member.
