V-SHAPE CUTTING METHOD OF CRACK PART IN ASPHALT PAVEMENT AND METHOD FOR REPAIRING CRACK PART

PURPOSE: To perform effective and economical repair by a method wherein high pressure hot blast is jetted against a crack part, and the upper part thereof is eliminated in a V-shape, and the crack part is filled with an elastomer- contained bituminous joint member and a pressure is governed. CONSTITUTION: By jetting hot blast against the upper part of a crack part 12 of an asphalt concrete surface layer 11 by a high pressure hot blast jetting device, a V-shape eliminated groove 13 is formed. The crack part 12 and the periphery thereof are filled with an elastomer-contained bituminous injection joint material 16 or an elastomer-contained bituminous mixture 17 being excellent in binding property and extensibility, or impact resistance in a low temperature period, and there is no fear of outflow occurring even at a high temperature period, or aggregates 18, such as No.7 crushed stoned, fine aggregates, and rigid aggregates with a given grain size are scattered thereon to effect rolling compaction. This method facilitates construction, eliminates a need for labor, and performs efficiency and economical repair.
