REAL TIME CHARACTERISTIC TESTING EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To expand the processing quantity in real time and to expand the test processing function by providing a comparison means applying logical bit comparison and quantity comparison between an output data from a circuit to be tested and an expected value and an expected value storage means supplying the expected value synchronously with the output data from the circuit to be tested to the means. CONSTITUTION:An output data from a circuit to be tested (DUT) 2 and an expected value from a digital pattern generator 4 are calculated by an arithmetic unit 3, the result of calculating is fetched in a high speed memory 7 and evaluated by a control processing unit 9. Moreover, a comparator 6 applies logical bit comparison, quantity comparison and comparison between output data and permissible upper/lower limits based on the expected value and the result of comparison, via the high speed memory or directly, is monitored by the control processing unit 9. The output data from the DUT 2 is fetched by the high speed memory 7 as it is and subject to various arithmetic processings by the control processing unit 9 and the result is evaluated. Thus, the detection of an accidental error, comparison of quantity and comparison processing by window width as well as inter-bit comparison are attained.
