PURPOSE:To obtain the titled aluminosilicate represented by a specified general formula and having a specified X-ray diffraction pattern, high heat resistance and acid strength by using amine having three primary amino groups in one molecule as an org. cation source and by carrying out manufacture under restricted conditions. CONSTITUTION:This crystalline aluminosilicate has a composition represented by the formula (where M is an alkali metallic ion, an ammonium) ion or an H ion, and X is 10-1,000), and it has at least seven diffracted rays each having an angle of diffraction and relative intensity shown by the table in its X-ray diffraction pattern. A uniform composition contg. substances for feeding silica, alumina and an alkali metal and amine (A) having there primary amino groups in one molecule is heated to 100- 250 deg.C and reacted for time enough to form crystals to manufacture said aluminosilicate. The components in the uniform composition satisfy such molar ratios of SiO2/Al/2O3= 10-1,000, OH-/SiO2=0.05-1.0, H2O/SiO2=5-50 and A/SiO2=0.5-10 (OH- stems from the alkali metal feeding substance). The crystalline aluminosilicate is suitable for use as a catalyst for alkylating monoalkylbenzene.
