PURPOSE:To efficiently perform the cut goal processing at a high speed by producing two types of instructions at the compiling time based on a fact whether a section including a cut goal has another answer or not and then storing a pointer to a selection point frame into an environment frame. CONSTITUTION:A cut goal functions to disuse the trials of other sections of a procedure including a relevant section. Therefore those sections are not carried out and disused in case the procedure has another answer and is kept untried. While just a back-track operation is required to a pre-selection point frame in case the procedure has no different answer or not kept untried since the selection point frame corresponding to the procedure does not exist originally or is already disused. The cut goal processing is carried out at a high speed by an individual instruction or a group of instructions produced at the compiling time according to the presence or absence of different answers when a back track operation is carried out since a pointer to a selection point frame is always stored in an environment frame.
