PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate necessity for fine adjustment even in case the wear has caused change in the shape of the tooth tip of a projection and the diameter and or material quality of a wire to be cut and ensure stable performance of the wire cut processing without drop of the cutting performance even though the shape of the tooth tip has varied owing to the wear. ;SOLUTION: A wire electrode 5 exhausted from a wire exhaust part is pinched by a driving gear 12 and a follower gear 13 pressed by a pressure giving means in the direction of the driving gear 12. The wire electrode 5 is constained by the following teeth 13d and 13e of each pair of adjoining follower gears 13 owing to the rotation of the driving gear 12 and follower gear 13 and is ruptured into thin piece in approx. L-shape by pressing the constrained part by the driving tooth 12e of the driving gear 12 in the direction of the following tooth 13d.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
