PURPOSE:To remove an oxide film on a non-plating surface in good efficiency without almost losing plating quality as well as without injuring the non-plated surface, in removing the oxide film electrolytically, by applying light pressing to the plated steel plate by a skin pass mill an a leveller as pretreatment. CONSTITUTION:An one-side alloied molten zinc plated steel plate 6 after alloying treatment is passed through a skin pass mill 8 and a leveller 9 to be lightly pressed and the non-plated surface 7 of the plate 6 is further polished lightly by a polishing particle containing brushing roll 19 rotated in a brush apparatus 18. In the next stage, negative potential is applied to the plate 6 by a conductor roll 15 and said plate 6 is guided through a plating liquid 11 and passed between anodes 13, 13 and cathodes 14, 14 toward an a direction. During this time, the oxide film on the non-plated surface 7 is perfectly removed electrolytically.
