PURPOSE:To prevent wearing-away or bleeding from occurring owing to adhesion of water content after drying and contrive higher water resistance and abrasion resistance, by using a quick-drying ink employing an aqueous emulsion of a high molecular weight substance through utilizing the water-absorptive property of a highly water-absorptive polymer used for an envelope, a packaging bag or the like. CONSTITUTION:In small-lot indication, by stamping, handwriting or the like, of a manufacture's name, a distributor's name, a mark indication, a date indication or the like on a plastic film-made envelope, packaging bag or the like printed in an ink containing a highly water- absorptive polymer added thereto, the operation of stamping, handwriting or the like is carried out by using a quick-drying ink comprising an aqueous emulsion of a high molecular weight substance such as a acrylic resin emulsion and a vinyl acetate resin emulsion as a main constituent and also comprising a water-dispersible pigment, a water dispersant, an emulsion defoaming agent or the like. The combustion of the action of water content in the high molecular weight substance emulsion in the ink and the action of the highly water-absorptive polymer in the body to be printed provides a quick-drying property and favorable water resistance and abrasion resistance after drying.
