Payment system for car parking - includes purchased cards having token value, with cards dated by driver

The parking system uses cards which are bought by the vehicle driver. They have two sets of columns marked on them. Each set of columns includes rows in which there are four boxes headed day, month, hour, minute. The driver writes in the boxes on one row when he wishes to park on the roadside, and post in the region indicates the required tariff. The information post carries a replica of the parking card, and also information e.g. 4.15, indicating that parking is permitted for four periods, with a payment unit being required for each 15 minute period.
