The cutting machine (1) includes a frame (2) in which a reciprocating blade is mounted in a saw bench. An oscillating table (5) beneath this supports a stone material (8). The table subjects each end of the sample to a vertical oscillation, raising each end in turn. A control and synchronisation system (6) regulates the coordinated movement of the blade, with the tilting sample to be cut. The control may use a DC servomotor and reducer, with a computer control.
