Method for the preparation of a superconductive fine powder essentially based on at least one rare earth, at least one alkaline-earth element, copper and oxygen, characterised in that it comprises the following stages: a) on the one hand, an aqueous solution of nitrates and/or acetates of at least one rare earth, of at least one alkaline-earth element and of copper and, on the other hand, a solution of oxalic acid are mixed in the presence of alcohol, the pH of the mixture obtained having to be between 2 and 4; b) the precipitate obtained is separated off; c) drying of the precipitate is then carried out; d) the dried product is calcined; e) grinding of the calcined powder is optionally carried out. The invention also relates to the products obtained by the said method.
