The store according to the invention can be transferred from a tractor onto a means of transport, and while being filled with the hop vines it is coupled to a driving element 26 of the tractor 27. It can be transferred from the means of transport 24 into the intermediate store 25, to which the hop vines 11 are delivered suspended in reverse order for introduction. The store contains a driven disc 8 which is mounted rotatably in a frame 1. The frame 1 carries a system of rollers 4, 5, 6 which, together with a circumferential part of the disc 8, have looping round them an endless chain 9 forming a clamping region for retaining the ends 12 of hop vines 11 which are introduced continuously into the store.
