4-Amino-6,7-dimethoxy-2-[6,7-dimethoxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinol-2-y l]quin o line, in addition to its action as a hypertensive agent, also has utility in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias at much lower dose levels.
