The wheel chair has a tiltable under-frame with wheels and a height adjustable chair frame supporting a seat and back rest. The chair frame (4) is connected to the under-frame (1) at the back by telescope rods (15) in hollow under-frame posts (12). It is attached to the top ends of the telescope rods by pivot pins (20) and is tiltably supported at a certain height at a place in front of rods under the seat. Operating levers (28) adjust the height of the telescope rods via the movable crank#### rod mechanism (17). The tilt line (18-18) define the rigid tilt supports (18,19) of the chair frame.
