Device has guide frame (1) fixed to car floor which has toothed rods (2) running on both sides along the lengthwise direction of the car. It has two lockable frames (4.1,4.2) which tilt towards one another once to hold the seat and once to hold the backrest. In the pivot axis (5) area between seat frame and back rest frame is a guide shaft (6) pivotably connected to them running obliquely to the lengthwise direction of the vehicle, which has a toothed wheel (7) connected fast to shaft. Toothed wheel intermeshes with toothed rod on the guide frame, aided by guide elements. The backrest frame and seat frame possess fastening devices away from pivot axis, which create a releasable connection with guide frame.
