Producing rigid body e.g. for contg. explosives - by placing cloth, sheet of film forming bag inside mould and completely filling with plastics material whose interior may be milled out

The method is for mfg. a rigid shape retaining massive or hollow body and uses a flexible cloth, sheet or ossive film, made into a bag corresp. to the shape of the body. The bag is completely filled with plastics material and this is left to harden. The flexible part, possibly already in the form of a bag, is in a mould whose hollow interior shape is transformed to the exterior of the body. The plastics material in the bag is removed from the mould when hardened, and the body is hollowed out by milling.
