Several power transistors are fitted on the hybrid segment via gate connections, each of which is reinforced by an epoxy layer. Each segment is insulated by insulators positioned between the base element and a bottom element. All segments are provided with end elements for drain and source connection. These end elements are in turn connected to a central bolt. A lock arrangement comprising insulators and a metal frame connects the four segments, base and end elements, and the bottom element via bolt unions so that a complete power unit is formed. The hybrid is locked via a power transistor fixture arrangement. The power unit has internal cooling by a heat pipe type heat exchanger, with the heat pipes passing from the evpn. chamber inclinedly upwards towards a cooling flange on the base element.
