The invention relates to a method for attracting cockroaches to a poisoned bait. The method consists in placing the bait in the presence of a means releasing water vapour. The means may be a container containing water or an absorbent medium saturated with water; the water may also be incorporated in the bait, optionally in a polymer material absorbing water. The invention also foresees a bait-dispensing station comprising a poisoned bait and water. Application domain: the fight against harmful insects. IMAGE
